The new Man Of Steel trailer came out this week, and it looks fucking epic. It has a load of references to some of the best Superman comic book stories, and the action looks like it's gonna be ridiculously cool. I was intrigued when I saw the first two trailers, but with this one I would not bet against Man Of Steel being the movie of the year. It was just that good.
The look of the movie is absolutely breathtaking. Zack Snyder's visuals are always pretty slick, and that will clearly still be the case for this movie. We get some cool shots of Krypton being destroyed, and Russell Crowe looks like he's going to make a great Jor-El. Michael Shannon is an intense bastard, and he's playing an intense bastard in Zod so that's going to be frickin' sweet too. Also, that Kryptonian armour is fucking boss.
The main thing, though, that I took from this trailer is that Superman and Lois Lane will definitely have chemistry. I feel that this is important. The interrogation scene was my favourite in the whole trailer. It was the first time we have seen Amy Adams speak as Lois Lane so far, and I think we won't have to worry about her. She's a really good actor anyway so I don't understand why people had any issues with her in the first place. Also, I am definitely, utterly, positively sold on Henry Cavill. He is going to be the best Superman ever. There I said it. He's gonna be better than Christopher Reeve.
The movie isn't out yet so I can't rate it, but that trailer was The Shit.
