A Dumb Sandler (Oh God, What Have I done?)

Despite that terrible play on words, I still feel that I am cleverer than your average Adam Sandler movie. I used to like them when I was younger, I'll admit, but now I can see them for what the truly are. I realise how stupid I must have been in my youth to have liked such crap as Billy Madison and The Waterboy, but then again, we all liked those steaming piles of shit at one stage. It just seems that those of us with a few brain cells have outgrown them, thank the Gods.

While I'm not a big fan of his earlier work, it is clear that the guy has definitely gone downhill. Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore aren't good movies  at all, but they have a certain charm to them. This cannot be said, however, for some of Sandler's latest movies. I'm mean, look at Jack and Jill for instance. Actually don't. Never look at that. For fuck sake Sandler, what was that shit? I can't even fucking describe how shit that movie is. Like . . . just . . . FUCK! He then followed that "movie" with That's My Boy. That film had a good soundtrack. That is the only good thing I can say about it.

The worst thing is, Sandler can act. He's not half bad at all. I really liked him in Funny People. That film has gotten undeserved flack. It's actually really good, and Sandler is excellent in it. I really like the fact that he's basically playing a version of himself. This proves that even he knows that most of his movies are horse shit. Perhaps it's only when Sandler produces or writes his own movies that they are terrible. If that's the case he should just fucking stop, but he won't because idiots will still go to see them, and they will still make fuckloads of money. Grown Ups 2? Fuck off!
