Hawkguy? Hawkeye? Hawkguy!

Obviously I saw The Avengers last year, and yes, of course I thought it was fan-fucking-tastic. That, however, is beside the point. In the movie there were a bunch of really cool characters. You know their names, I'm not gonna list 'em here. You think I have time for that shit? Anyway, on that list there is one character that would have probably gone to the very bottom. That character is Clint Barton aka Hawkeye.

Yeah, Hawkeye was kinda lame in that movie, but luckily movie's aren't the only place where this guy exists. You do know that there is such thing as comic books, right? That's where this dude is from, and right now, he is a fucking badass. Comics are great. They are like a cross between a book and a movie, and I enjoy both of those things. If you look down on them as being just for children, then you are an ignorant asshole. They are frickin' awesome, especially Hawkeye.

Or should I say Hawkguy? Yes, yes I probably should. You see this comic is being written by a crazy cat called Matt Fraction. He decided to jokingly call Clint Hawkguy, and the moniker has stuck with fans. This dude is super-legit around Marvel Comics, and he also writes the Fantastic Four right now (that shit is also cray!). The fucking unbelievable artwork is done by this slick fox named David Aja. His shit is mind boggling. It is the best stuff I have ever seen in comics. 

The stories that these guys are writing are a hell of a lot of fun, and they are intriguing and emotional too. It's just fucking epic storytelling on the street level of the Marvel Universe; where the shit gets really real, bro. Hawkguy is there to clean up those streets with his precision skill and a good helping of wit and charm. What a fuckin' hero.

You might notice that I'm not as harsh as I usually am today. Well the reason for that is my love for this comic book, and the character of Hawkguy. Hawkguy is The Shit!
